Maryjane Mphahlele is the Founder of Mjne World is Limpopo born entrepreneur who believes that business chose her. From a poor financial background with struggles to secure employment, Maryjane then started her own business, initially selling hair products and then moving on to handbags. The developed an interest In tendering that failed just after few first contracts, She then went back to search for formal employment, but never received the opportunity to work. 

Opted for skills development and completed a certificate course in Project Management through UNISA. In addition, advanced her computer literacy and broadened her knowledge of self-management, business development, export development and cooperative development through attending courses with the DTI, NYDA,SEDA, and University of Pretoria through Tshepo 10 000.

She formed two co-operatives with friends, that both failed in the development stages, due to financial arguments in the first projects, then secured a job as a contracted debt collector within the COJ Municipality and was soon promoted to Team Leader, and within two years to Supervisor. Upon completion of her contract Maryjane joined business development incubation programme whereby she earned more skills in startup business growth, Information technology then focused on restructuring her company, and ventured into Technology and Event businesses.

She is currently building electronic devices for health and security purposes while planning events for other corporates. She is also a Chairperson of Anzani Charity Organisation, an NPO that supports basic education needs of schools in rural areas. Her future aspirations is to grow her business and become a world-wide brand. Her dual business operations in events management and the electronic device manufacturing shows her commitment and strategy as the event business will be another revenue stream to accelerate both its growth and the growth of the electronic devices division. 

Her future aspirations in business is Farming; Manufacturing and Property development, as well as business development opportunities for the youth that is focused in developing rural areas. She wishes to employ more people and also give back to the communities through her foundation. Now studies through distance learning to acquire a degree in Entrepreneurship and Marketing Management.
